Sahid Hotels & Resorts to build hotels in Bukhara and Samarkand
Employees of the Department of Ziyorat Tourism of the State Committee for the Development of Tourism of Uzbekistan held meetings with representatives of the Indonesian company Sahid Hotels & Resorts in Jakarta.
The parties reached agreements on the construction of hotels for pilgrims in Samarkand and Bukhara. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for Tourism.
Bicycle plant to be built in the Tashkent region
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of projects on social and economic development of the Tashkent region.
This year 662 projects are planned to be implemented in the region. Among them – the production of bicycles in Kuyichirchik district.
The enterprise, organized jointly with Chinese investors, is scheduled to attract $ 80 million of investment. Expected export of products at $ 260 million.
Russian IPmatika opened an office in Tashkent
In early October, the company will hold a specialized conference for system integrators, representatives of online stores and resellers.
During the conference, IPmatika experts from the Moscow office will talk about solutions and product lines.
The event is addressed to engineers, product managers, presale managers and other technical specialists of companies.
WB: 8 projects for $1 billion to be prepared in Uzbekistan
The World Bank is working closely with Uzbekistan and is preparing eight additional projects for a total of $ 1 billion, including support for new economic development projects and the program “Rim Qishloq.”
This is stated in a letter from World Bank President Jim Young Kim to the President of Uzbekistan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev launched the construction of a foundry and rolling complex
The project worth $ 452 million will be directed to the plant’s own funds in the amount of $ 91 million, as well as loans from Russian Gazprombank and Swiss Credit Suisse for $ 361 million.
The complex will be fully commissioned in 2020, which will produce an additional 1 million tons of steel sheets per year and create more than 400 new jobs. As a result of 2021, the output of finished products at the plant is scheduled to increase to 2.1 million tons per year.
Chinese company to build a glass factory
The first stage of construction of the plant was completed in May this year. Full commissioning of the enterprise is planned for 2019.
The total cost of the project is about $ 110 million. At the first stage, investments of about $ 30 million were mastered.
It is expected that the Jizzakh Glass Factory will become the largest producer and supplier of flat glass in Central Asia.
