Paying Taxes: the total tax rate in Uzbekistan is below the world average
According to the Paying Taxes 2019 rating, the total tax rate in Uzbekistan is 32,1%. This is below the world average (40,4%).
In Central Asia and Eastern Europe, the tax burden on the average enterprise is close to that of Uzbekistan – 32,8%.
Rating Paying taxes assesses four parameters: the total amount of taxes, the time spent on paying taxes and fees, the number of payments and the index of procedures after filing reports and taxes.
Seven new small industrial zones are being created in the Fergana region
Small industrial zones will be created on the basis of unused land plots and enterprises.
Real estate state property located in the zone will be provided to entrepreneurs for a long-term lease for a period of 10 years. If the business plan and other conditions are met, then the property will go to the entrepreneur.
The total area of all new zones will be 72,6 hectares, while the area of buildings and structures is about 85,8 thousand square meters.
The draft law on inspections of entrepreneurs has been published
The General Prosecutor’s Office has published a draft law “On state control over the activities of business entities”.
One of the articles is devoted to the “risk analysis” system – a mechanism for determining the degree of risk with which business entities commit violations of legislation in their activities based on specific criteria in the relevant field of state control.
The grounds for initiating an inspection are applications of individuals and legal entities about violations of the law and the results of the risk analysis system in the activities of business entities. The grounds for initiating audits of financial and economic activity are systematic violation of tax and customs legislation for the payment of taxes and other obligatory payments; identifying violations of tax laws in excess of the amount of one hundred minimum wages; revealing facts of violation of tax and customs legislation by business entities that have a state share of more than fifty percent in the authorized capital.

Yandex.Money launched the identification of wallets in Uzbekistan through InfinBank
Wallets in Yandex.Money can be anonymous, named, identified. The status defines the limitations of the wallet. The wallet can be opened remotely.
For Uzbekistan, “Yandex” made a separate subparagraph, which states that it is possible to pass identification in the branches of InfinBank (earlier it could be identified here through an individual agent). The service costs 25 thousand soums. The wallet itself can be replenished only with a conversion or other card of international payment systems.
