The Directorate of Delta City receives the rights of a shareholder on the state-owned block of shares in the authorized capital of JSC Xalqaro Hamkorlik Markazi and JSC NEC Uzexpocentre, as follows from the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, the Directorate gets buildings and structures of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of the Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation under operational management.
Also the Directorate is joined by the Interregional Storage Enterprise “Interservice” (International Hotel Tashkent).
Nura Energojihoz will invest $ 4.8 million in the organization of electrical production in Tashkent
Joint venture Nura Energojihoz will invest $4,8 million in the organization of electrical engineering production in Tashkent, in accordance with the project for discussions on the portal of regulatory acts. The company is implementing two projects: the production of energy-saving LED-lamps ($1 million) and rechargeable batteries ($3,8 million).
In this regard, “Uzeltehsanoat” offers to give the company an empty two-story building in Almazar district. In particular, it is planned to sell an empty two-story building on Yangi Olmazor Street at “zero” cost.
Nura Energojihoz, in turn, will have to take on investment commitments: to invest at least 24,9 billion soums in 2018–2020 and create 200 new jobs.
Next year Uzbekistan will announce a tender for the modernization of the gas transmission system
Next year, Uzbekistan will begin the implementation of a project for modernization of the gas transmission system and gas flows control (SCADA).
“So far we have not decided who will act as a foreign partner in its implementation. The company will announce and conduct a tender selection in the prescribed manner. The goal is to complete the project until 2021. The total project cost will exceed $ 1.5 billion,” the head of the department of operation of gas pipelines and facilities of Uztransgaz, Akmal Eshonkulov, reported.
According to him, the introduction of SCADA will reduce losses in gas pipelines by at least 7%, as well as automate all management processes in the area.
ADB completes development of proposals for restructuring Uzbekneftegaz
According to the chairman of the board of Uzbekneftegaz, some of the company’s facilities may be transferred into trust management, for example, the Fergana oil refinery.
Earlier it was announced that the American companies McKinsey & Co. and the BCG are engaged in elaborating development strategies for key sectors of the economy in Uzbekistan.

Companies from UK and Russia will become co-founders of agrocluster in Uzbekistan
Petromaruz Capital (Russia) and Paraglide Limited (UK) will become co-founders of “TCT cluster” LLC, an agro-industrial cluster in the Tashkent region with a total value of $225,8 million.
In the frame of this cluster during 2019-2023 ten plants for growing cotton, cereals, textile, livestock and fish farming, gardening, production of biogas and bio humus are to be put into operation on the territory of 35.4 thousand hectares.
Financing of the project will be carried out at the expense of attracted foreign loans in the amount of $185 million and foreign direct investments for $40,8 million.
Uzbek-Korean textile technopark will start operation in March 2019
Construction of the Uzbek-Korean textile technopark is at the final stage. Technopark launch is scheduled for March 2019.
In addition to creating an industrial innovation ecosystem, where interaction is established between research laboratories, research institutes, government agencies and manufacturing, one of the most important functions of the technology park is business support.
Companies that test and introduce modern technologies based on scientific developments will be provided with offices, management consulting services, support in promoting the brand abroad and in the local market.
