Kai Shing Trading Co. Ltd plans to organize poultry mega-complex in Namangan
A meeting with the Chairman of the Board of directors of Kai Shing Trading Co. recently took place in the Namangan region. Ltd Teng Xuekai is known worldwide as the “Taiwanese Chicken King”. As it became known at the presentation, the partners of Kai Shing Trading Co. Ltd will invest $ 35 million in the project during four years. Of this 90% – foreign direct investment companies from Malaysia, China and Singapore, who will finance the project together with the Uzbek partner. Its share in this large-scale project will be 10%.
It was also noted that for all products a halal certificate will be obtained in Malaysia, so that the rest of the meat can be exported to Arab countries.
Ministry of Investments and foreign trade and Gazprombank is planning to create a consulting company
The head of the Ministry Sardor Umurzakov met with the deputy chairman of the board of Gazprombank Alexey Matveev. Representatives of the bank arrived in the republic to discuss and consider new promising areas of investment and financial cooperation. Reports about it press service of the ministry.
“Within the framework of cooperation with the ministry, it was proposed to consider the possibility of creating a joint company for the provision of consulting services in the preparation of investment projects (development of business plans, marketing research, feasibility studies and other areas),” the statement reads.
At the meeting, Alexey Matveyev said that Gazprombank was aimed at developing long-term and multilateral relations with Uzbekistan. According to him, the bank is studying the possibilities of investment profile of the country.
A plant for the production of gel batteries will be launched in Uzbekistan
The total cost of the project will be more than $ 5 million, its financing will be provided through the credit line of Uzbek National Bank and the company’s own funds. To date, more than 5.8 billion UZS have already been utilized and the bulk of the process equipment has been supplied as part of the construction and installation work.
“Initially, we planned to put the enterprise into operation in June 2019. However, then it was decided to modernize the project with targeted not only on the domestic, but also on the external markets. For this purpose, the expert organization “Tashgiprogor” has been involved. On the basis of their reports the project will be finalized and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval,” said Alexander Babayants, Director for Perspective Development, Uzvtortsvetmet.
One of the main advantages of gel batteries is that it can last much longer than lead-acid analogues. Its average service life during normal operation is 10 years. In addition, it will ensure complete tightness of the system. As a result, this battery is more resistant to physical impact, shock and vibration.
UzFoton minibuses are to be produced in Namangan
Local Foton Do’stlik Servis and Chinese Foton Motor are engaged in production. According to the head of Foton Do’stlik Servis, Vahid Khamidov, the release of the first cars is scheduled for September this year.
51% of the shares of the new plant belong to Uzbekistan, 49% – to China. Chinese partner Urumqi Xin Xi Xin Sheng International Trading Co., LTD is investing $ 14 million in the project. The estimated capacity of the plant is from 500 to 1000 cars per month.
“According to the original agreement with Foton Motor, we received a license to manufacture four types of medium trucks of this Chinese company. One more model will be added to them – the Foton View CS2 Supporter minivan. They will be produced at the new plant in Pape. All our products will be released under the UzFoton brand,” the Khamidov publication quotes.
The government resolution approves the regulation on export of fruits and vegetables
The resolution of the Uzbek government approved the regulation on export of fruits and vegetables. In accordance with the Regulation, entrepreneurs have the right to export fruit and vegetables without a license for wholesale trade, a taxation procedure is applied to their revenue, which provides for a single tax payment.
The export of fruits and vegetables can be carried out without prior payment, opening a letter of credit, issuing a bank guarantee, and also having a policy for insuring an export contract.
Tax exemptions on the income of individuals when exporters purchase fruit and vegetable products from individuals for its further export are applied without providing documents confirming the production of these products on the land plots of these persons or their family members.
