Almazar district of Tashkent to attract $ 400 million investment
The next three years, it is planned to attract investments into the Almazar district for $ 400 million. In this regard, the district khokimiyat held negotiations with entrepreneurs. New free economic zone was established In Uzbekistan
A free economic zone “Namangan” was established in the Chust district of the Namangan region, which was already established according to Presidential decree.
It is planned to open modern production facilities in the sphere of processing, storage and packaging of fruit and vegetable and agricultural products, textile, shoe and leather goods, food, electrical engineering, machine-building and automotive industries, and production of construction materials. Special tax, customs and foreign currency regulations apply for “Namangan” free economic zone.
The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev provided new benefits to private schools and gardens
Non-governmental educational institutions of Uzbekistan will receive a number of tax and customs privileges.
According to the document, legal entities engaged in the provision of non-state educational services are exempted until January 1, 2025 from payment of all types of taxes and mandatory contributions to state trust funds.
Tashkent to host Uzbekistan – Belarus Business Forum
Tashkent will host Uzbekistan – Belarus business forum on the eve of the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event will be held on September 12 at International Hotel Tashkent.
As reported by the Press Service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, over 110 representatives of business circles of the leading Belarusian enterprises will attend the event.
Iran to import and collect cars of Uzbekistan
Iranian company Sepehr Meshqat Caspian is ready to establish cooperation with the automakers of Uzbekistan as bus and cargo fleet of Iran are to be updated.
At the first stage, the Iranian company plans to buy several samples of automotive products “Uzavtosanoat” with a subsequent increase in the number to 1 thousand.
