Indorama to invest $ 225 million in the creation of Uzbek cotton cluster
Singaporean Indorama Corporation plans to develop a cotton cluster in Uzbekistan. As it was stated by Amit Jain – the representative of Indorama Industries, the company is running negotiations with the Uzbek government on the allocation of land.
The creation of clusters, according to the representative of the Singaporean company, will make it possible to use cotton more widely, which, in turn, can encourage world brands, like Nike and H&M, to launch production in Uzbekistan.
