New metal processing plant to open in Tashkent
The project was implemented with the support of the government, the Association “Uztekstilprom”, the Ministry of Economy and other departments.
The sheet metal production plant, created in cooperation with the local “Metal Processing” company, is designed to meet a wide range of customer requests from complex machine parts to small individual solutions
Ministry of Finance, experts and business will create a platform for joint work
The Ministry of Finance and the expert council of Buyuk Kelajak will create a list of initiatives for the development of the country’s financial and economic sector. This was discussed during an open conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Jamshid Kuchkarov and representatives of Buyuk Kelajak.
Investment Specialist Odilbek Isakov is selected as the coordinator of the group.
Uzpromstroybank will cooperate with Freedom Finance
Uzpromstroybank has established cooperation with the international company Freedom Finance in the direction of mediation in investment.
On stock market, Freedom Finance will carry out its activities on transactions and financial transactions with securities of Uzpromstroybank, accounting for securities and cash, and attracting new investors and shareholders to the bank.
LUKOIL to ramp up gas production in Uzbekistan
The Russian oil and gas company LUKOIL is planning to produce 14.6 billion cubic meters of gas in Uzbekistan In 2018, which is 60 percent more compared to 9.09 billion cubic meters in 2017.
The representative of LUKOIL noted that gas production in projects involving the company will amount to 18 billion cubic meters in 2019, of which 15 billion cubic meters will be commodity gas.
Pavel Zhdanov, Director for Capital Markets Operations, Acquisition and Sale of LUKOIL Assets, said earlier that LUKOIL is satisfied with implementation of projects in Uzbekistan and plans to reach the design the level of gas production.
New investment projects in Namangan Region
Within the framework of the working trip of the specialists of Investment committee, a list of new investment projects the region was formed. These are 34 projects in such areas as Kosonsoy, Namangan, Pop, Turakurgan, Uichi, Chortok, Chust, Yangikurgan, and also in the city of Namangan.
The largest of the proposed investment projects are organization of a modern multidisciplinary clinic in Namangan, production of small trucks, manufacture of skeins of yarn, latex and nitrile gloves, biogas production factory.
It is planned to attract foreign direct investment for the implementation of the proposed projects worth $ 299.5 million, with the prospect of inclusion in the state program “Obod kishlok.” Of these, 10 projects implemented worth $ 60.7 million, 10 projects under development worth $ 117.3 million and 14 projects worth $ 121.5 million.
